Have a bingo game happening in your area? Offer to donate a prize. Many of these have some sort of door prize drawing going on and this is a great way to get some exposure.

Floor Game

Give each guest three pieces of paper and ask them to put their name on each piece. Collect all papers and put them in a bag or bowl. On the floor, place three or four small prizes. These can be wrapped, placed in gift bags, or wide open. Use products from your business inventory to get guests excited about winning a product. Start calling names from the bowl. When each name is called the guests have to pick something from the floor. When the items are gone off the floor, they have to take from each other when their name is called. When all the names have been called three times, the guests left holding a prize wins.

A Break From The Norm

With my niece's birth this past weekend I began to think about the funny stories that accompany the birth of our children.

The funny story that accompanies the birth of my son is a fire drill. There I was fully dilated and ready to push. With all my glory for the world to see, the door flies open to evacuate patients. For some reason the room burst into a contagious laugh as the person with the red face leaves quickly without a word.
